Social Work

At the REAL ASOCIACIÓN, we continue working towards a society with greater opportunities by supporting Christian initiatives, investing in education and promoting culture. We do all of this in order to continue helping those most in need.

The REAL ASOCIACIÓN has embarked upon a new chapter. We are convinced that this path will mark a turning point for the people of Albacete. Its aim is to raise awareness of the importance of solidarity with those who are less fortunate and to demonstrate that this commitment cannot be based merely on statements of intent, but must be translated into real action.

As part of this process, we have a responsibility to work persistently as a community through the Real Asociación, but also, no less importantly, as individuals through our everyday actions.

With your support, we want to continue promoting activities that foster Christian values within society, while strengthening the Virgen de los Llanos as a worthy symbol and expression of the people of Albacete and the entire province.

Our objectives are threefold:

1. To raise public awareness of the Social and Cultural Work carried out by the Real Asociación.
2. To reinforce the role of the Virgen de los Llanos as Patroness of the Diocese and our commitment to the people of the entire province of Albacete.
3. To raise public awareness of the importance of fostering Christian communities and Christian values in Spain.

Throughout the more than 100 years of the REAL ASOCIACIÓN’s existence, every possible effort has been made to support our fellow citizens, and many charitable organisations work closely with us. From now on, this work will be intensified and made more visible through specific projects.

Faced with the social instability of the present day, the difficult circumstances experienced by many families in Albacete, and a society and public institutions which we believe need a stronger presence of Christian values, the Social and Cultural Work of the Real Asociación Nuestra Señora de los Llanos is being renewed in order to make the work undertaken by the Real Asociación both effective and visible, with the sole aim of improving the quality of life of people throughout the province of Albacete.
